My background is as a systems developer focusing on flash memory. I have been involved in the component and systems development of flash memory at Intel since 1987. Prior to Intel I worked for both aggressive startups including ALF and IOMega corporation where I cut my teeth on system design (board, bios, software, storage). My emphasis has been on systems development of flash memory products including memory management and NVM policy theory and deployment. Much of the fundamental IP for defect management, wear leveling, and application to the ATA interface was captured by a team I lead.
