For the past 20 years, I have specialized my career in Undersea vehicle hydrodynamics, propulsion, and vehicle stability and control. Working at one of the most technically advanced Navy-sponsored laboratories in the world, I've been leading design, analysis, fabrication, and experimentation at various model scales. Utilizing experimentally-based scaling laws, computational analysis, field testing and full-scale results, I have been part of the success of many Naval programs. My passion for aviation and aeronautics, and the sport of soaring has enriched my life. I love teaching and working with our young engineers and researchers both as a mentor and as a colleague.
