Adding to my Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering is more than 6 years’ experience in FMCG and exposure to many OEM items of plant, processes and equipment. This accompanies my Basic Occupational Health & Safety Certificate and introduction to HACCP, along with a Basic Food Safety Certificate. Within the food and pharmaceutical industry, I have proven experience with both horizontal and vertical form fillers, including Ulma, Fuji, Propak, Illapak, Robag and Ishida. I have extensive experience with liquid filling machinery including Norden, Tonazzi, CMI, ACMA and Omas. I have also worked with palletising and packing robotics including Schubert, Pester, HMPS, Skilled and IMA.I have shown in previous roles my ability to be a positive and cooperative member of any team, working closely with Process and Packaging Engineers, Electricians, Production Staff and Management within a fast paced, highly automated environment. With an ability to build the trust of my peers and senior management, my key strengths are breakdown maintenance, root cause analysis and the implementation of continuous improvement concepts. I take great pride in responding to and repairing machine breakdown quickly and efficiently and, when required, working further to eliminate repeat occurrences of machinery or process problems in an effort to improve machine reliability and availability for production, more than often achieved via investigative project works, predictive or preventative maintenance.I have the skill and willingness to adapt to challenging environments and an ability to learn new processes, practices and machinery quickly.
