Completed various tasks as a geotechnical engineer.- Acted as field representative observing various types of construction, including; - conventional earthwork and subgrade preparation, - lightweight fill placement, - rammed aggregate pier installation, - helical pile installation, - drilled micropile installation, - soldier pile and lagging SOE wall construction, and, - pressure-grouted tieback installation.- Reviewed contractor construction submittals.- Directed subcontractors to complete, and observed numerous geotechnical and environmental explorations, including; - Standard penetration testing, - Rock coring, - Undisturbed sampling of clay, - Geoprobe sampling, - PID screening for VOCs, and - various environmental sampling.- Prepared reports providing geotechnical recommendations for design and construction of structures for various proposed conditions, including; - Conventional shallow foundations, - deep foundations, - problematic soils, - retaining walls, - slope stability analyses, and, - mechanically stabilized earth slopes and walls.- Prepared contract specifications and plans for projects of varying complexity and cost.- Completed dam safety inspections and reports.- Completed seepage and slope stability analyses for assessment and improvement of dams.

Completed construction observations for various activities, including general earthwork and compaction testing using a nuclear density gauge, rammed aggregate pier installation, monitoring of ground vibration using a portable vibration monitor, and inspection of concrete reinforcement bars. Detailed daily and weekly reports were completed and distributed to the client for each of these activities. In addition to this work, the instrumentation and installation of long-term vibration monitoring equipment on several sites was completed.

Working alongside a professor of geotechnical engineering to prepare graduate level course labs.

Member of a team of students and faculty which handles the deployment and support of all physical science related technical equipment at the University of New Hampshire.

Worked alongside several project engineers overseeing construction on different job sites consisting of pavement and bridge repair work. Aided engineers in their day to day jobs by completing a wide variety of tasks both in the office and on the job site.

Assisted with physical needs inspections and wrote and organized the following reports. Amended building and site plans using AutoCAD and DataCAD. Wrote architectural specifications for projects ranging from remodeling to new construction using SpecLink. Advised on concrete mix designs for architectural projects.
