I have been employed in the Behavioral Health field for almost 30 years, originally starting out as a clinician, and eventually moving into leadership positions where I felt I could further advance the mission for those underserved, marginalized, and socioeconomically challenged. Over the years, I have worked in numerous Behavioral Health non-profit environments serving both children and adults, where I have held key leadership positions up to my current position of CEO. These settings have included Acute Care, FQHC, PHP/IOP/OP environments, Day Treatment, Community/Home Based Services, Detoxification Programs, Residential/Group Home settings, and Medication Assisted Treatment programs. Throughout my career I have been called upon numerous times to lead organizations through transformational change in order to transition towards a new evolution and culture. Areas where I have been particularly successful have been Strategic Planning & Implementation, Program Growth & Development, Financial Management & Prosperity, Board Relations & Development, Community Collaborations & Partnerships, and Leadership Growth and Mentorship. I am a driven, results oriented executive with vast experience in the growth of multi-million dollar budgets. Capitalizing on organizational strengths and recreating strategic planning to effect positive change for both clients and staff. I believe I have an ability to clearly recognize and effectively develop programming and new initiatives that promote a sustainable work environment and services based on the needs of the clients. A passion for honoring the strengths within each individual while mentoring upward through the challenges. I continue to love what I do each and every day and marvel at the ability that each of us has within ourselves to recover and live productive and fulfilling lives, especially when given the chance and appropriate resources.
