I managed audio and video hardware in classrooms to facilitate hybrid teaching during the 2020-2021 academic year. I attended classes in-person and assisted the professor with launching the broadcasting software before class. During the class I was in the room watching and listening to the class as a student. I was responsible for fixing any microphone or camera issues, and managing camera angles to clearly capture the professor and any whiteboard content. In the summer and fall of 2021 I transitioned to a position at the service desk, where I provided in-person, phone, email and remote desktop support to students and faculty. I also documented issues via a ticketing system and forwarded technically complex issues to the relevant Tier 2 employees. This job required both technical knowledge across a wide variety of issues as well as interpersonal customer service skills and maintaining good relations with professors, faculty and students. This position also included responsibility for the 8 HyFlex classrooms installed during Spring 2021. This was similar to my previous hybrid classroom duties but I now had to manage content displayed on several televisions installed in the room, ensure cameras properly tracked the professor, and that students with questions were properly shown on the video broadcast. This also included managing breakout groups within the course and traveling between smaller classrooms to ensure students were not having issues.

Paid organizer working to help elect Robin Wonsley to the Minneapolis City Council. Responsible for the University of Minnesota's Minneapolis campus. Organized daily canvassing, get-out-the-vote events, door-knocking and literature drops with volunteers. Carried local voting stations with an average of 70% of votes.

I loaded packages from the warehouse into 52' semi trailers, maintaining a rate of 300 packages per hour. I was responsible for loading multiple trucks at a time to keep the warehouse belts from becoming full and jammed. I packed each box in tight to the walls, floor and roof to ensure they would not be damaged in transit. I also ensured that lighter packages were towards the top and heavier packages were at the bottom to avoid crushing boxes. In addition, I assisted with the main sorting area. I was responsible for sorting packages from the unloading belt into one of 8 belts that transported packages to different sections of the facility. To do this, I memorized a table of destinations and package priority levels, which directed different states and area codes to each belt. This required quickly reading the package's label and moving it to the appropriate belt, while ensuring there was space for it to lie flat.

Unloaded 40' and 52' semi trailers onto the facility's belt system. Maintained a rate of 1000 packages per hour while working alone and 1500 packages per hour when working in a pair. Moved packages carefully to avoid collapsing packages onto myself or other employees, as well as to avoid damaging packages.

I returned shopping carts from the corrals in the parking lot to the garages next to the entrances. I was also responsible for ensuring the parking lot was clean, as well as assisting customers upon request. I worked in all (non-severe) weather, including heat waves and in winters. I worked full-time over the summers and part-time during the 2017-2018 school year.

I was selected by the IT team at Stillwater Area High School to be a student assistant during my open class periods. I gained experience working with different technologies at the school, including laptops, PCs, iMacs, SmartBoards, laptop carts, network connection issues and printers. This included traveling to classrooms to help teachers with hardware and software issues. I also tested hardware and software in several devices to determine faulty components, order replacements and complete repairs. This was predominantly with student Chromebooks, though I also completed physical repairs on iMacs and Dell laptops.
