In this latter role I was also posted in Singapore and Hong Kong/China and realized a global corporate revenue increase by a factor of 8.Recruited by the board of directors of Taiho Pharmaceutical Co. (Japan), a member of the Otsuka Pharmaceutical Group, as COO to startup and manage this company’s first subsidiary outside of Japan and build its global clinical trials and business development operations in Princeton, New Jersey. I became increasingly responsible for the business management of cancer drug development projects across 3 continents with over 1,600 employees receiving direction from this company. I led the US business development team in the out-license of a major anti-cancer drug compound to Sanofi valued at $1.7B.Results driven, tactical, hands-on corporate management responsibilities have always included global business development, i.e.: fundraising, therapeutics licensing, JV partnerships, collaborations and product commercialization.
