Handle the accounting functions including month end closing, financial reporting, audits, GL accounting, and sales tax filing. Working on financial setup for implementation of a new ERP system. Also, help with the manufacturing division and inventory accounting/controls in a separate system outside the main business ERP system.

Accountant for Henriksen Butler's flooring division, HB Flooring Solutions as well as their distribution start-up Mozaik Surface Concepts. Accounting duties including AP/AR, GL, Cost accounting, reconciling inventory, budgeting, ad hoc reporting, etc. Spearheaded the implementation of a new ERP system for the flooring division, from initial setup, information/data organization, process mapping, productivity management, training, and general software implementation management.

I handle multiple accounting functions for day to day operations. I also oversee the warehouses daily operations, including managing over $600K worth of inventory, over see shipping/receiving/purchasing/procurement, etc. Manage 20% of the companies employees. Communicate with vendors regarding product, billing, contracts, fulfillment rates, RGA's, etc. Maintain warehouse space to maximize room and efficiency, including allocating space for new product lines, transitions in inventory types/products.

As General Manager I was responsible for daily operations of the company, including A/P, G/L journal entries, payroll, daily accounting reconciliation, bank reconciliations, sales tax reporting, financial reporting to the owner, financial forecasting and cost analysis, as well as overseeing A/R personnel. I also dealt with all aspects of managing warehouse functions including delivery scheduling, purchasing, managing a team of 7 employees, overseeing orders were processed promptly and fill rates were maximized. Managed and maintained a fleet of 4 vehicles, also negotiated leases and contracts with vendors.During my time as General Manager, net profits increased 100%. Through process evaluation and adjustment during my time as Warehouse Manger, and carrying over to General Manager, I was able to reduce loss & shrinkage by over 75%, all with minimal increase to expenses. I was able to help maximize profits through aggressive cost analysis to ensure efficient operations.I began my career with ROSI Office Products as a delivery driver during college.
