I love bikes, so turning my hobby into a business was always my goal. I am the founder of JUST RIDE IT. We make custom made bikes that offer each person something unique, special and personal. Our flagship store is in Melbourne's bustling BalaclavaI started Just Ride It in 2011 with a clear mindset to service the single speed and fixed gear market. It was apparent that riders of these simple machines didn't just want an off the shelf bike, designed in an office to fit the masses. We take the humble bike and do absolutely crazy things with them that have never been done before. It’s a cool industry to be in. We’re finding that a lot of people who live in big cities buy bikes just to commute, save money, get fit and reduce the time they have to sit in traffic.Whether you are a new rider or someone with years of experience we can cater to your needs. We offer budget bikes for the casual rider or high performance machines with a dedicated purpose.To date I have bootstrapped the business, pouring income back in to fuel growth. I currently have 7 employees working in the business, allowing me to work on international development plans to Asia and Europe.Corporate Australia is also fuelling growth. The bikes are being snapped up by global and local brands for advertising and marketing giveaways, with Coca Cola, Adidas and Dropbox all recent clients.
