Steven Bodi has been an active participant in the real estate industry since 1983. Over the past twenty years he has been directly involved in the development and restructuring of real estate projects with a market capitalization in excess of $300 million. As the Managing Partner he is directly involved in directs both the acquisition, redevelopment and restructuring efforts of the company. Mr. Bodi has been overseeing real estate development projects, as a Managing Partner, since 1997.

From 1989 to 1997 Mr. Bodi was the Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Claremont Corporation, a large, privately held real estate company involved in all facets of real estate ownership, including development, acquisitions and property management. In addition to participating as a principal in a number of the company’s real estate ventures, Mr. Bodi was responsible for the overall administration of the company, a 200-employee organization with operations in four states. As General Counsel, he personally undertook restructuring of the company’s $500 million of various debt instruments during the industry’s downturn in the early 1990’s.

Prior to his tenure at Claremont Corporation, Mr. Bodi was a Vice President at Winthrop Financial Associates a real estate investment banking and advisory firm controlling a portfolio with a market capitalization of $6 billion. At Winthrop Mr. Bodi had two primary responsibilities; the financial restructuring of troubled real estate investment programs (primarily multi-family); and directing the firm’s Investor Servicing Department, a 40 person office, charged with the communication to both the company’s 35,000 investor limited partners and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
