Significant experience in executive and management roles for green market transformation and technology organizations and projects. Prior experience in management and technology consulting and investment banking for multiple industries including energy, real estate, transport/logistics, and financial sector.Recently led and completed the successful first phase of "SMARTER Finance for Families" and authored a successful follow on proposal for SMARTER4EU. Combined these are an initiative of 60+ persons and 29 organizations to replicate and implement successful Green Homes & Green Mortgage programs in 19 countries across Europe, Africa, Asia and South America. The project is supported by the European Commission's Horizon 2020 and LIFE programs, Green Building Councils, national Energy Agencies and the Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency; a partnership of the UN Environment Programme, Danish Technical University, and Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The SMARTER Finance for Families initiative has to date certified or signed agreements to certify residential projects including over 37,000 housing units worth EUR 10.4 Billion of new residential construction. 13 financial institutions including local and international banks offer mortgages, construction and renovation loans requiring green performance that exceeds the EU Taxonomy for Sustainable Activities. Partnerships with municipalities were signed to train 40 representative in connecting private sector green finance products with sustainable housing approaches.
