After over 30 years as a member of the State Bar of California, in April, 2012, Mr. Boss was admitted to practice law in the State of Texas and moved his primary practice to Dallas, Texas to take advantage of over 25 years of professional contacts he developed in the area. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the State Bar of California, and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association. His practice now focuses primarily on Estate Planning and Probate.

General Counsel and Senior Executive for a premier nationwide energy brokerage and services firm. Responsible for legal matters affecting the company's business including general corporate and contract drafting and negotiation.

Assisting clients in the commercialization of alternative energy and energy efficiency technologies including LED lighting. Also involved in advising retail energy providers and commercial customers in electricity and natural gas issues.

In July, 2005, Mr. Boss was appointed to the Board of Directors of Commerce Energy Group, Inc. (AMEX: EGR), and in August, 2005 became its Chief Executive Officer and Chief Legal Officer. Commerce Energy was the largest publicly traded, non-affiliated retail energy provider in the United States, providing electricity and natural gas service to approximately 200,000 customers in ten states. While at Commerce, Mr. Boss reversed a severe sales decline and, in his second year, grew sales over 40%. He also reversed over 3 years of financial losses and delivered 7 out of 8 positive quarters, leading to an offer to buy the company at an over 100% increase in share value from the date he joined the Company. As Chief Legal Officer he supervised and directed the work of staff attorneys, managed relationships with outside law firms, directed several litigations, supervised compliance with regulatory agencies and concluded several acquisitions and financings.

Mr. Boss returned to Southern California in 2003 to practice law in association with a fellow attorney. His practice focused on legal matters affecting business clients, contract negotiations and transactional work as well as other general civil matters.

In mid-2000 Mr. Boss formed Energy Buyers Network, LLC. EBN was involved in providing legal and business services to commercial and industrial businesses in the Western U.S. in transactional, regulatory and legislative matters. In his capacity, Mr. Boss represented clients in major contract negotiations, the structuring of direct access energy transactions, federal and state regulatory proceedings and in drafting and passing legislation.

In March 1999 Mr. Boss joined Sierra Pacific Energy Company/ Nevada Power Services as its President. He was responsible for establishing and combining several companies into an organization that conducted all of the non-regulated business activities of Sierra Pacific Resources, Inc. (NYSE) in the Southwest U.S.

In 1994, Mr. Boss joined Natural Gas Transmission Services as its President and then Chief Executive Officer and took the company from start-up to being selected by Inc. Magazine as the third fastest growing private company in the nation in 1997. At the end of 1997 NGTS had annual revenues in excess of $200 million.

In 1984, Mr. Boss started Sunrise Energy Company from ground zero and built it within 8 years to a company with over 100 employees, generating over $230 million in annual revenues, serving over 1500 commercial, industrial and utility customers in 35 states. He negotiated and completed several merger and acquisition transactions and took the company public in 1990 on the London Stock Exchange. Subsequently he secured a listing on the American Stock Exchange.
