A leadership position in UnitedHealth Group Global Sourcing; an organization chartered to oversee $700+ million annual operating expense related to purchased external global labor services. Provide leadership to sourcing transactions and support labor supply chain activities; demand management, supplier management and oversight to large and/or complex purchased services transactions. Lead projects to improve labor supply chain operations. This will include offshoring transactions and analysis

•Establishing policy and process change in support of global supplier management objectives •Managing ITO and BPO external suppliers, maintaining adherence to contractual guidelines and SLA's•Performing financial analysis as a method to evaluate supplier management activities •Working directly with internal users of supplier services to define user needs including staff augmentation requests and SOW / project based parameters •Evaluating supplier performance through client focus groups, quantitative surveys and other formal and informal feedback mechanisms •Working with finance on cost evaluation and containment initiatives •Participating in industry research on global supplier best practices and benchmarking •Participating in global risk assessment and management activities, including supplier audits, event notification and management, business risk assessments, information risk standards and physical security •Participate in setting global supplier management strategy

Responsible for leading assigned functional recruitment team. This entails day-to-day management of recruiters to include allocation of workload, assisting in the development of sourcing strategies that support UHG’s strategic goals, troubleshooting day to day issues associated with aging requisitions and challenging situations/managers. Act as a coach and mentor to the recruitment team related to the quality/consistency of the work product, adherence to the Recruitment Service Level Agreement, as well as all other performance management related to department/functional metrics.

Responsible for managing the outsourced talent acquisition strategy and execution. This recruiting leadership position is accountable for the success of UHG’s Recruitment Process Outsourcers (RPO) by developing partnerships and enabling the RPO with regard to branding, sourcing and assessment strategies, candidate and hiring manager experience, and overall staffing project management. Also accountable for the performance measurement and management of RPO teams including day-to-day monitoring of service levels and requisition aging, troubleshooting escalated issues, and acting as a strategic coach to outsource partners with regard to aiding in the development of business acumen and overall UHG process proficiency.

Partner with Recruitment Account Management team, line management, and Human Capital leadership in trouble shooting and resolution. •Coordinate and manage the delivery of recruiting programs/initiatives. Manage large-scale recruitment projects. •Provide leadership through coaching, training, advice and consultation to the segment line executive and management team on complex issues relating to implementation of recruiting needs
