As Duty Manager I was responsible for independently running a shift, dealing with customers and leading a large team of staff to maintain company standards and meet sales targets. -I was part of the recruitment process hiring staff, training staff and supporting their development as well as disciplining or suspending staff where needed. -Extensive use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint intaking and making orders for stock and cash handling through making up tills and end of night banking.-A great deal of technical work through ingesting films, maintaining projection equipment and inputting film schedules.-Responsibility for the sites health and safety by maintaining fire and health safety checkson site, being first aid trained and being a personal license holder.
