Troubleshoot & Repair Airframe, Engines, and Systems for United Airlines B757, and A320 Aircraft in a line Maintenance capacity at San Diego Int’l Airport. Sole mechanic responsible for 14 aircraft on my shift. Working in co-ordination with System Aircraft Maint. Control, & Station Operations.

Evaluate maintenance discrepancies. Develop corrective action for repair. Supervise and follow up repair of aircraft. Implement Total Quality Management philosophy using iso 9001 2000 standards. Monitor safety program. Perform accident and Injury investigations. Evaluate, develop, counsel, and discipline Employees. Participate in management-union.

Develop company Avionics program. Purchase tooling and equipment for Station. Supervise mechanics in the performance of duties. Determine needs for fleet standardization. Track fleet for Avionics discrepancies. Troubleshoot Avionics for other stations. Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.

Supervise mechanics, and provide guidance. Perform cockpit modifications. Accomplish continual status reports to management. Adhere to strict time constraints. Coordinate repair of aircraft with other Skills. Perform electrical and electronic repairs.

Responsible for maintenance on heavy aircraft. Establish B727 training Program. Administer training to personnel. Report to management on program status. Recommend tooling and equipment needs.
