I'm a soon-to-be graduate from the University of Maryland with a Bachelors of Science in Information Science. In my time at the University of Maryland, I developed skill in Python, SQL, R, HTML, and JavaScript, and I employed those skills for tasks such as API integration, data cleaning, data visualization, and data management. Over the summer of 2024, I interned with Navy Federal Credit Union on a lending automation software development team. In this role, I gained real-world experience as a part of a Scrum team in an Agile development environment. I assisted the requirements analysts in developing user stories and reviewing code to provide information to the development team, and reviewed large sets of data through the use of MS SQL Server to ensure our data was managed properly.I have served in the United States Navy for over six years as a reservists and am currently working with a NATO unit to support their mission on a global level. I hold an active secret security clearance as well as a NATO security clearance.I am passionate about helping businesses gain useful insight from the data that surrounds us and hope to join a team that sees the value in extracting those insights.
