With a strong foundation in the arts, I have developed a diverse portfolio of skills over the past twenty-five years, spanning design, writing, directing, producing, camera work, editing, and animation. My expertise are rooted in these multi-faceted technical abilities and my innate talent to blend artistry with technological innovation in brand communications.I envisioned the potential of digital humans as early as the 2000s, a concept that was only realised in the upper echelons of Hollywood. While working in the corporate video production sector for over a decade and serving giants like the World Bank, Telkom, BCX, Standard Bank, Microsoft, and Dell, technological advances rekindled my passion for bringing digital humans to life.In 2019, I took a bold step and founded Brand Avatar, a venture at the intersection of storytelling, animation, and AI. Driven by the concept of avatars as the future of brand communications, Brand Avatar aims to construct and deploy digital personas that capture the essence of brands, essentially humanising them by adding a face and personality to brand communication.In the emergent era of Web 3.0, I believe the next level of brand engagement will not be one-dimensional. Instead, it will be a multi-layered experience, transcending platforms and profoundly impacting virtual spaces. I see digital humans becoming as ubiquitous as websites in our digital landscape.Amid the burgeoning competition to develop AI-centric avatars, I advocate for a balanced blend of AI and human intelligence (HI). I envision avatars as the perfect communication tools, blending technology and humanity. My mission is to usher brands into this exciting new frontier, fostering deep, meaningful connections with their audiences through the engagement of avatars.
