VLC is a boutique consulting firm that offers services to address 21st-century challenges in education and technology for public, private, and charter school districts and higher education institutions and transform them into successes. Additionally, VLC is a leading consulting partner to the education and technology research, venture capital, M&A, and private equity industries, providing strategic decision support and customized market intelligence to drive business results. VLC advises investors across the entire investment life-cycle in the US K-12 and higher education space. Previously, he served as the State Chair of the New Jersey Association of School Administrators (NJASA) Technology Committee. Through this position, he used his local, statewide, and national influence to promote technological innovations in all of New Jersey's schools that would enhance pedagogical practices to develop 21st-century learners and advance fiscally responsible, thorough, and efficient school district operations. In this role, he also chaired Techspo: the State of New Jersey's most significant technology training and exposition convention for school district leaders in Atlantic City. Previously, he was named the Superintendent of the Fort Lee Public Schools. Before coming to Fort Lee, he was appointed the Superintendent of the Hamburg School District in New Jersey at age 28.
