I'm Steven Eric Spector, and I do a bit of everything. I’ve never really been interested in just doing one thing. Technology design, cybersecurity, hydroponics and aquaponics farming, harm reduction for substance abuse disorder patients, web design. Whatever the latest interest is, I try to use technology to enhance living conditions through access to advanced technologies on a grassroots budget. I’ll be outlining some of the ways this can be achieved in my blog, but I’ll also be posting some examples of my work. I may also post some things for sale: products to which I’ve contributed, other products i’ve designed, and sometimes the occasional shirt or something else fun.My theory is this: If we can all make “making the world a better place” fun for everyone involved, and available inexpensively, wouldn’t that work pretty well? And what better time to start than now, we have 3d printers, drones and robotics kits for as cheap as a couple hundred dollars, and almost everyone has the total wealth of the internet’s knowledge in their smartphone in their pocket.
