- Ensured data ingestion was always up to date by investigating and resolving failed runs.- Developed the data export tool which allows users to fetch raw or calculated, aggregated databy running a Fargate task to load data to S3 fetched by a link sent via email due to volume of data.- Developed a data API with Lambda and API Gateway for stakeholders to fetch calculated KPIs of their farms from legacy monolith via GRPC to build their own reports.- Built automation and tooling into the data API with CircleCI, Make, Poetry, and Terraform as a template to enable developers to be more productive across the organization.- Created an OpenAPI spec for all responses and errors of the data API which was hosted on CloudFront via S3.- Upgraded the user permission tool to allow giving access from a single organization per user to a set of farms, organizations, and farm types.- Optimized CI/CD pipelines with path filtering and docker build caching, reducing build times by 20%.- Onboarded and mentored juniors and co-ops to ensure they improve, feel supported, and remain unblocked.

- Creating a website for a Korean dog shelter using Gatsby which generates static pages written with React- Pages are regenerated when a user from the shelter edits data in Strapi, a headless CMS, which should accommodate the shelter to easily add new postings and edit text on existing pages.- Deployed over several hosting services (Heroku, Netlify, Cloudinary) to keep costs free/low and usage of each separate and to save pictures that would otherwise be deleted from Heroku cache when not in use

- Created a React web app to mimic the functionality and leverage the back-end of a pre-existing iPhone app so it had wider accessibility- Took ownership of the existing LoopBack back end and improved security with rate limiting, JWT authentication, and closing unnecessary API endpoints- Co-architected a larger scale application to facilitate communication between health care providers, patients, and parents/guardians/health care proxies by using a Service-Oriented Architecture to handle abstract user types, permissions, and questionnaires- Provisioned an AWS server with TeamCity to run continuous integration builds and deployments to CloudA servers as per PIPEDA requirements- Set up Docker as a method of testing, versioning, and delivery in CI

- Worked on small features, improvements, and bug fixes to a Node.js and Knockout web application called EnergyCheck, as well as the landing page and several Node.js, Java, and Python services- Consolidated the emailing code that was imported or rewritten in multiple places over the application into the notification service so only an endpoint is hit with the type and parameters of the necessary email or alert- Leveraged a new prediction service to create an automated report which compared energy usage data against predicted energy usage data had they been reducing consumption through our software

- Worked with the DevOps team as a Co-op to maintain the department's Nexus servers, Jenkins build servers, and GitHub Enterprise server- Aided in the conversion of several components of a project, each with its own svn repository and continuous integration jobs, to git and modifying the continuous integration jobs during the migration so the build never broke during the migration- Played a leading roll in automating the release process using test driven development of bash scripts with shunit2 in order to modify the maven poms and settings with release specific changes where they were not able to be refactored into the main reactor- Aided in the planning of significantly simplifying our release process just before my Co-op term ended through the pursuit of replicating what the customer would do as part of our testing and found several simplifications

- Predominantly worked on the front end of iClinic, an electronic medical records system which holds data useful to medical office assistants of cardiologists for waitlists, appointments, billing, patient records, and more- Fixed a slew of bugs on the software system using Adobe's Flex and Actionscript- Created a module to group several billable items into a procedure which integrated into billing to bill multiple items much more easily- Built a simple Flex app for the surface pro with touch screen functionality so our clients can let their clients self serve
