As an expert of online media products and similar technology solutions I work to build rapport with customers, gaining an understanding of their marketing needs and positioning Dex One as their solution provider. By leveraging strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, coupled with my tenacious personality I have found success in this dynamic role. Through meticulous client follow up, combined with the ability to communicate and understand the client's business needs, I can ensure that the customer thinks of Dex One for all their marketing needs. In doing so I have positioned Dex One’s service offering and support programs to ensure a high rate of contract renewal, along with identification of additional products, services and technologies for add on sales.

Selected for Lockton's comprehensive training program that encompasses all aspects of commercial insurance management through "Lockton University." In the program we learned how to successfully negotiate with underwriters and clients, the intricacies of commercial insurance policies and coverages, and to develop and maintain business relationships through the servicing of commercial insurance accounts. The highly selective training program, encompassed all facets of the insurance industry, including coverage training on such lines as Workers Compensation, Auto, GL, Property and Umbrella. • Responsible for a book of business consisting of $1.7M in premium and $119K in revenue.

As a recruiting intern at AGS I was tasked with learning the ins and outs of the recruiting industry. During my time there, I learned to prospect, recruit, screen and interview candidates for prospective positions. Also, one of the major functions of my position was to aid the Social Media Manager in the creation and upkeep of a new website using WordPress.

During the summer between my junior and senior years at the University of Kansas, I interned in the Johnson County, Kansas Environmental Department. During the summer I was responsible for the inspections and compliance of public recreational facilities. I was able to develop and manage schedules to make sure that more than 500 facilities were inspected three times throughout the season.
