I have always been a scientist at heart. In elementary school I filled the room with cultures and with my microscope located most of the protozoans and visited with them everyday instead of going out to play in the yard. I also sang in the choir first a soprano! Then working into each lower register. Music and science my two loves. After elementary school I was placed in advanced science in high school. Alas my dream of one of the first salt water aquariums was shattered when the animals were shipped and spent a weekend in storage and were all killed. A humbling lesson for sure. Later I went into music theory and composition and learned all the basics in college. Wonderful years in the University of Miami and Butler University. Playing the piano in a room all day long and imagining large pieces of music however, did not prepare me for being a composer. I ended up joining the US Navy as a Reactor Operator in submarines.I helped build many of the US Nuclear power plants and am a seasoned I&C professional. Troubleshooting has been a great joy for me (see my posts please).Completed work at Harris and Robinson Nuclear plants in major projects working on the new turbine control systems for Duke.
