Key Responsibilities:•Manage a team of commodity leads and supplier quality professionals•Develop strategies to enhance the knowledge base of the Strategic Supply Chain team through training and mentoring•Utilize ePDR process to evaluate and grow talent and bench strength within the team•Develop planning/procurement strategies through the strategy deployment process, focusing on Value Stream needs to improve operational metrics•Drive key performance metrics of suppliers: on time delivery, quality, inventory management and PPV/total cost of ownership•Achieve company and value stream goals for inventory within strategy deployment framework•Ensure all operation processes are carried out in accordance with quality and environmental systems and procedures•Promote adherence to standard work to ensure site alignment within the function, while still supporting teams in Value Streams•Assist and support sector business strategy and organizational transformation

• Manages all processes related to the external procurement of raw materials, parts, supplies and services required at minimum cost, consistent with delivery requirements and quality specifications.• Manages the activities of exempt Buyers and Material support personnel to accomplish objectives. • Responsible for the procurement of purchased parts annually managing cost and delivery requirements in support of commercial and government contracts.• Establishes and updates procedures to accomplish procurement of a variety of materials in a cost effective manner.• Coordinates procurement activities with program management to develop procurement schedules and plans.• Monitors performance and capabilities of vendors to insure maintenance of delivery, quality and price commitments. Continually assesses market conditions which may affect procurements.
