Hired when TI purchased Reflectivity.Supported optical micro-mirror light valves (DLP) used in projection displays such as televisions, 3-D projectors and mobile phones. Designed, debugged and modified projection engines. Verified customer designs of schematics, suggested PCB/flex layouts and made adjustments to microcode and firmware.

Reflectivity was a Silicon Valley startup making low-cost micro-mirror light valves for video projectors. Supported all customer design activity including on-site system debug. Wrote and maintained the customer presentations and product literature. Regularly traveled to Japan, Taiwan, Korea and China to give presentations, schematic/board reviews and system debug.

System Architect - Researched new product opportunities for the PC platform and advised design teams how best to implement/introduce. Produced model platforms and time frames for new feature entry to the PC and investigated how to implement. Received patent #WO0225416 for Security of Copyrighted Material on a PC.Senior Applications Engineer - Got Intel’s first DOCSIS® cable modem chipset through CableLabs Interoperability testing. Designed and built a portable cable modem network for demonstration of the chipset at the Western Cable Show. Worked with signal research team taking field measurements of digital TV signals to understand how they degrade on a mobile platform.
