Major clients include Uber, Block (Square), Instacart, and Doordash.I led tech efforts in the areas of payment transaction processing, data ingestion pipelines, reconciliation, and settlements, with teams of up to 20 reports including managers and leads. I also worked closely in a cross functional manner with product management, internal customers, senior leadership, and other stakeholders.We used technologies including Java, AWS Lambda (Serverless), REST and GraphQL APIs, React, Terraform, Datadog, MySQL, Spark, and Snowflake.

I managed local and offshore teams developing web-based financial applications for LPL's network of investment advisors. During my tenure I grew our tech team from 10 people to 25, including 4 managers, and launched numerous new products.My responsibilities included hands-on development as well as Product and Project Planning, Client Management, Tech Strategy, Software Architecture, Infrastructure Management, Development Management, Information Security, and Recruiting and Organizational Development.In this role I led development of both standardized and custom financial workflow and analytics software for our clients. I also drove the migration of our infrastructure to the AWS cloud, including use of serverless (Lambda) and Docker container technologies. And additionally, I facilitated the transformation of our development process from traditional Waterfall to an agile Scrum based methodology.Our products use open source technologies including Java, Angular, Linux, and MySQL.
