In December 2010, Steve happily accepted an offer to take the lead for the local Boy Scouts of America chapter in Colorado Springs as their Finance Chairman. This volunteer role constituted a responsibility to generate sponsorships and donations to the local chapter, the Pikes Peak Council.Steve was incredibly excited to utilize his knowledge and expertise in financial management, recruitment and acquisition. Steve grew as a scout and believes in the power of their ability to help our youth generate valuable leadership skills, and continuing to lead the way in developing principled leaders for tomorrow's world.

Carmichael Training Systems, Inc. is the world's leader in endurance sports coaching. It was founded in 2000 by Chris Carmichael, long-time coach to 7-time Tour de France Champion and Livestrong founder Lance Armstrong, as well as Ironman® World Champion Craig Alexander.The CTS mission was to provide premier coaching services to not only the elite of the elite athletes, but everyday amateur athletes as well. Steven's roles during his four years at CTS were as a Senior Multisport Coach, Sales Representative, and National Sales Manager. His experience in handling these diverse areas of the business helped shape Steven's talents in project management, sales, employee management, and coaching.
