At Dulles CarMax, I started my career as a Sales Consultant in 2010. I really enjoyed working with customers to find their next certified vehicle and engaged in daily skill practices to enhance my customer service and functional expertise. After a year an half I earned a management role in the Operations Department. As a manager in Operations (Cosmetic Supervisor, Parts Manager and TPM) I have managed teams of 10-20 associates that focus on vehicle quality and maintaining our weekly production targets. I take great pride in helping associates grow and develop. While working at CarMax, I have earned several promotions and performance recognitions through my career. With a strong focus on developing others, I am very proud of the 15+ associates that I've helped reach promotion in various departments. I have seen the importance of adaptability and making a positive impact on those I have the privilege of working with each day.

I had an amazing opportunity to create a partnership/management group that re-opened the landmark Tally Ho Theatre in historic downtown Leesburg, VA. As a managing partner, I was charged with overseeing budgeting, operations and logistics for the business. Our team had to establish, build and maintain relationships with all the major film studios such as Walt Disney, 20th Century Fox, Paramount and Universal. We developed all necessary vendor partnerships involved in daily business operations, to include Coca-Cola, Vistar/Roma, Strong Technical Services, Mercury Payment Services and ADP Payroll Services. I hired, trained and managed a staff of 15 employees at a low turnover rate for our industry. My team created, developed and marketed ancillary revenue streams such as private party events, live entertainment productions and loyalty programs. Created, grew and maintained a social marketing strategy reaching an audience of over 4,200 Facebook fans, 400 Twitter followers and 800 newsletter subscribers. The Tally Ho was re-established as a community leader by partnering with local government officials on events such as 1st Night Leesburg, Jingle Jam and First Friday. Most recently was awarded the Heritage Award at the 11th Annual Business Appreciation Awards for Leesburg, VA.

This extra-curricular, performance program benefited hundreds of high school students in Loudoun County, VA. Working with Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) and individual drama departments, High School Hijinx focused on empowering local teens to problem solve, work together and lead by example. At its conclusion, over 10 high schools were using the Hijinx Performance program to educate their future leaders and fund raise within their drama departments. When creating this venture my goal was to provide a creative outlet for Hijinx students to learn how to plan their success and gain amazing life experiences. I created yearly/weekly curriculum, held auditions and regular rehearsals, developed students to share feedback and execute on their drama departments fund raising goals. I am so proud of all my former students and the great things they have accomplished through the High School Hijinx Program.
