Generate individualized spare parts lists for custom orders. Warehouse and inventory management. Maintain stock of spare parts and consumables. Use past sales to forecast demand and adjust purchase orders and minimum stock levels and reorder quantities in Sage50.
Seismic Systems Engineer
Duties included Seismic system quality/acceptance testing: • Towed streamer test result evaluation (First Line QC)• Ocean Bottom Cable testing and evaluation• Vibrator wireline testing• Vector Seis and geophone test results mainly with the INOVA Hawk system.• Auditing Vessel Seismic systems: Navigation (Orca/Spectra), Recording(DigiSTREAMER, Sercel, VSO/Calypso), Source (GunLink, BigSHOT, DigiSHOT) for:o Timing accuracy (Oscilloscope verifications of TTL events)o Positioning redundancy and accuracyo Data format and redundancy analysis (Tapes and RAIDs)o Source positioning and offset location verification• Reports on the above including grading and impressions of systems and crew competencies Experience with Radio & Wired Communication• Micro-seismic Reservoir monitoring networks (WIFI signals in UHF and VHF ranges)o Antenna placement and Line-of-Sight propogation network design• Tailbuoy communications over VHF radio and FSK transmission through wires.Lead the design and testing of prototype equipment and R&D work.• Scale miniature design and Solidworks modeling for testing in tow and flume tanks• Inertial Measurement Unit usage for evaluating scale model behavior • Constructing towed streamer and associated rigging miniature models and rigging assembly• Prototype and build analog circuits for signal timing, cleanup, and triggering of timing devices• Solidworks experience in parts, assemblies, and drawings• Training in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing• Hardware and software testing and analysis in micro-seismic data gathering units• Gun string optimization for stability and wear-reduction while towing• Ice tail buoy Solidworks modeling of concepts and final production drawings of sub-frame and other parts.
