It was picked up by a streaming service in France and sold for $40k, which was a major success and a profit of $28k on our first project.• In 2017, my team won a film festival competition in the city of Minneapolis which went on to compete internationally in Paris, France against 40+ teams from around the world, allowing me to meet and make connections from around the globe.• In 2018 we made a short film which placed 3rd in the Z-Fest (film festival), but won several awards, including an ‘Audience Favorite’ award and ‘Best Drama’, but the most rewarding part was the message it spread about homelessness that has helped viewers to see them in a more caring and humanitarian light.

A one-year contract between the US and Japanese government to assist in teaching English as a second language and share American Culture to high school students in several schools within the prefecture of Niigata.Key Responsibilities• Creative thinking in making lessons that can be modified for different skill levels in four different schools.• Time management in regards to not just planning lessons but getting around within a foreign country to different teaching locations.• Improvisational skills. If something doesn’t work or is hard to understand, switching things up so you can explain it in a different way or come up with something fun to get them interested in the concept.• Working with others who have limited English ability in order to complete the tasks needed.• Microsoft skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to make the lessons more interesting and fun for students.Key Achievements• Watching students’ curiosity grow in learning about a foreign language and culture when they previously had little interest• Seeing students try harder to study abroad in America and asking for help in the future• Using my skills in creativity and media to show other staff members a different teaching style besides the method they’re used to
