Steve serves on the Board of Directors of MacroVentures, a private equity and early stage capital firm with a diversified portfolio of interests in the web, cloud-based business software, manufacturing, commercial real estate, and LED/optoelectronic industries.Most recently, Steve served as the Chief Marketing Officer for aspectLED, a Minneapolis-based manufacturer of LED lighting products for the industrial, commercial, residential, entertainment, and architectural lighting markets.Prior to aspectLED, Steve served as President and CEO of PartnerUp, a wholly owned subsidiary of Deluxe Corporation (NYSE: DLX).PartnerUp is a leading enterprise web 2.0 marketing software company and the first and largest online community for entrepreneurs and small business owners. Steve co-founded PartnerUp in 2004.Steve is a veteran internet and technology executive and thought-leader, having started and led a number of technology-focused ventures. He has invested in numerous internet, high-tech, and medical device startups. Steve is passionate about the internet/information technology and the powerful effects that they can have on every aspect of a business. In addition to technology, his specialties/interests are corporate strategy, entrepreneurial management, product strategy, marketing, customer acquisition, and M&A.Prior to PartnerUp, Steve served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Information Officer of HostForce, a leading managed hosting and IT outsourcing services provider, from 1998 to 2004.
