In my role as NHP’s IT Infrastructure Manager, I am tasked with the responsibility to maintain and improve the organisations IT services and infrastructure solutions. Responsible for the day to day running of the IT operations team, IT engineering team and the data management team I ensure that all business as usual tasks are carried out and vendors meet there contracted KPI/ SLA’s. Along with this I lead my teams in improving and adding to the NHP environment to meet the changing business requirements. I oversea the project management and quality assurance of all projects that effect the IT infrastructure, applications and security of NHP.Manage the multi-million dollar operational and capital budgets and projects approved within. Ensuring all projects are time managed, meet milestones and budgetary requirements.Manage the IT Infrastructure Cloud Engineering Team, Data management team and IT Operations Teams (10 Staff), ensuring they meet KPI’s Provide leadership, consultation and direction to other IT & business units.Review IT solution performance with business unit managers and recommend strategic and operational improvements.Manage NHP IAAS and Azure Cloud solutions, Telecommunications infrastructure and supporting service contracts. This includes over 150 Servers/ services across 26 sites in Australia and New Zealand and over 900 staff.Project manage key application and solution upgrades or replacements to ensure they meet agreed IT/business objectives and budgetary requirements.Continually manage the product lifecycle of all applications and IT services ensuring all system are maintained to industry recommended standard.Manage and monitor all licensing agreements. Including Microsoft EA and premier services agreements ensure all licensing requirements are met by the business and vendors.Conduct monthly reviews with key partners/vendors to review performance and to ensure KPI/SLA agreements are met and exceeded.

Promoted by the General Manager of IT to the role of Network Administrator. I was tasked with the responsibility to manage the Helpdesk and second level support team (5 staff). Additionally, I was tasked with the management of NHP’s WAN/LAN and server environment.As Part of this I transformed NHP from a point to point network to a full Telstra MPLS cloud. Additionally, I oversaw the major task of migrating NHP email, file and login services from Novell to a Microsoft Windows solutionsManage the telecommunications infrastructure change to a full Telstra MPLS cloudImplemented IT services into NHP New Zealand as the business expanded into a new market space.Implemented Microsoft Active directory, Exchange, SQL and file serving to replace the aging Novell environmentIntroduced a managed print solution for all 120 printers across 24 sites. Implemented Microsoft EA agreement to consolidate all Microsoft licensing.Consolidated all Application licensing under IT to manage and administer.Manage the IT helpdesk and second level support staff.
