Responsible for library systems and reference, managing library software and meeting the information needs of Commission lawyers, researchers, policy analysts, and investigators. Overseeing V-Smart integrated library system, library intranet content, and more. Worked with IT and system vendors on accessibility of library catalogue for screen reader users. Managing project to organize, catalogue, and make available legacy CHRC documents that don't fall under IM or Comms jurisdiction but are still in demand internally and externally, using Iguana front end and Iguana Digital Assets Management. Managed experiment with Kobo Touch and Arc ereaders into library service. Using Adobe e-Learning Suite for library training, marketing, and other projects, particularly Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Captivate, Audition, and Media Encoder.

Organizing Dept of Law library/reading room: creating InMagic DB/Textworks database, cataloguing, creating policies

Main areas of responsibility included reference and systems, but also took on other roles as needed, everything from cataloguing to collection development to hiring. Reference work including supporting information needs of all branches of the organization, with most work coming from communications and spacecraft engineers and marketing. Systems work included overseeing SydneyPlus (originally Sydney) integrated library system, some network work back in the Novell Netware era, library intranet, some corporate website work. Received award of excellence in 1994 for creating prototype corporate website on personal web space and presenting it to senior management.
