As a passionate leader in Digital Education and the creative industries, I bring a collaborative and transformative approach to my current role as Dean of Digital Education at BIMM University. My career has been dedicated to driving innovation and excellence across creative, entrepreneurial, and technology-focused disciplines, from music production and education technology to strategic leadership in higher education. I hold a BA Honours in Contemporary Music Production and Drum Performance from The Academy of Contemporary Music (Surrey), and my professional path has been built on a commitment to accessible, inclusive, and impactful education.My journey began at the renowned Metropolis Studios, where I worked as a QC Mastering Engineer with iconic artists like The Rolling Stones, Simply Red, and Queen. In 2010, I founded my own recording studio and teaching business, which was later recognised for its contributions to the arts and the local creative community. These early experiences instilled in me a deep respect for the power of creative industries to shape culture and empower individuals, which remains central to my leadership philosophy.Since joining BIMM University in 2019, I have progressed from Head of Education (Brighton Campus) to Associate Dean for Digital Learning and now to Dean of Digital Education, responsible for the formulation and execution of strategies concerning learning technology, digital library services, and online education. My role involves developing and implementing progressive and transformative strategies and digital resources to enrich student experiences and ensure employability-focused, industry-relevant education. I work with teams across campuses to maintain high academic standards, support professional growth, and build meaningful partnerships that benefit our students and communities. This experience has equipped me to lead with vision, adaptability, and a dedication to impactful education.My career demonstrates my dedication to innovation, the creative arts, and education.
