Evaluated and executed strategic acquisitions and investments across digital, broadcasting and Gracenote businesses.Led investments and strategic partnerships with Dose Media, ATTN: Inc. and Share Rocket, as well as acquisitions of SportsDirect, Covers Media and Infostrada Sports. Also led corp dev effort to sell Gracenote to Nielsen for $560 million. Served as board member of Topix LLC and as board observer of Dose Media and Share Rocket.

BondDesk builds technology that enables investors, financial advisors, and traders to search for bonds and execute trades in corporates, munis, Treasurys, and other fixed income securities. At BondDesk, I helped drive new revenues by forming strategic partnerships to create new products.

Led Tradeweb Retail business unit (now Tradeweb Direct) and transformed it into a high-growth, highly profitable business within 18 months. Identified, evaluated and presented new business and acquisition opportunities as Global Head of Business Development.

Evaluated strategic acquisition and investment opportunities for UBS, negotiated definitive agreements, built valuation and operating models, conducted due diligence, and obtained internal approvals for transactions. Led the $695 million acquisition of ABN AMRO’s futures & options business and strategic investments in Tradeweb, Guggenheim aero Finance Company, BIDS Trading and Integrity Research.

Advised wireless and cable companies on M&A and private equity capital raising transactions. Executed the following selected transactions: Rural Cellular’s $1.2 billion acquisition of Triton Cellular, Bresnan Communications’ $735 million acquisition of certain Comcast cable systems, Wireless One Network’s $850 million sale to AT&T Wireless, and Mesa Communications’ sale to Blackstone portfolio company Global Tower Partners. Built strong team of analysts and associates by leading group's recruiting and training.

Built financial models in connection with M&A and capital-raising transactions. Completed comparable company and precedent transaction analysis for various financial services sectors. Closed a number of deals, including the sale of Fortis subsidiary Auto Lenders Acceptance Corp to First Investors and the IPO of Friedman Billings Ramsey.
