Chart is an Oracle JDE shop.▪ Restructured IT to lessen dependency on consulting in favor of building an IT team. Reduced by half the % of revenue spend on labor and raised customer survey results by 40 percentage points.▪ Recruited an IT management team that delivered solutions in both a hyper growth environment ($795M 2011 revenue to $1.2B in 2013), and through an industry downturn due to a global decline in oil prices.▪ Led IT due diligence and integration for acquisitions ranging from $20M to $200M in revenue.▪ Introduced tools to enhance competitive positions including: business intelligence, customer interfaces, and configure to order. Implemented Salesforce CRM across the globe.▪ Documented improvements in security, uptimes, and professional operations.▪ Formed and led a Process Review Board of business leaders and IT business analysts to improve back-office operations. Implemented over 20 process improvements for the business around finance, information accuracy, and improved customer interactions. ▪ Improved cyber security through targeted investments in hardware, software, and people. Dimensional products and technology startup companyThis business was acquired by Accuride in 2007 as part of a program to commercialize patented transportation related technologies. In 2008 Technoptics was purchased from Accuride and taken private. The company focuses on commercializing new patented technologies related to dimensional printing, retro-reflective signage, and phosphor technologies. Steve successfully sold his membership interests in this business in May of 2011.

$1.4 Billion North American producer of commercial vehicle components▪ Supported company growth from $332m/1997 to a peak of $1.4b in 2006 before the 2007 industry downturn.▪ Grew through a combination of acquisitions and new capacity construction, and taken public through an IPO in 2006.▪ Facilitated the strategic planning as a member of the executive committee▪ Identified and formed three joint ventures in $1B marketplaces. (Seating, highway technologies, emissions technologies, structural components, composite materials, and others.) Led a team of engineers and sales staff.▪ As part of the KKR portfolio companies, facilitated board meetings, was a member of the IPO team and delivered presentations showing Information Technology as a strength of the business to potential investors.▪ Implemented consolidated financial systems / PeopleSoft / and BPCS ERP systems globally.▪ Led the due diligence and completed the integration of five businesses totaling $900M in revenue (Gunite Foundry, Brillion Foundry, Imperial Group, Bostrom Seating, and Fabco Automotive).▪ Held P&L responsibility for Brillion Foundry and Bostrom Seating totaling $160M in revenue with 300+ employees.
