I was the engineering lead at Pearl, a web3 social media company built on top of the Deso blockchain.- Built the various backend components (ACH payment processing, realtime notifications, end-to-end messaging) necessary for a social media app.- Architected NFT pipeline to mint arbitrary number of NFTs in seconds by adding custom batch transactions endpoint to Deso backend.- Mentored engineers in their development and project planning processes, and provided guidance to a former head of engineering.

I was an engineer on the Security Infrastructure team at LinkedIn.- I built up a centralized service that allowed internal employees manage their security headers for all linkedin.com traffic.- I designed and architected a system that was able to detect in code reviews when a disallowed service-to-service call was being made, and notify the user with the appropriate actions to resolve that.- Led the implementation of a cookie scanner that can externally audit what 1st/3rd party cookies were being dropped on LinkedIn webpages.- Lead and educate team members how to decompose large projects into small, concrete tasks to help aid in project tracking, capacity estimation and completion date.

Acquired by Palo Alto Networks on December 2020.- Led the cross-functional coordination of engineering teams to complete V1 of cloud module on time- Authored API spec standard for the engineering org and got key stakeholders' approval in review meetings- Led an engineering-wide presentation on database triggers performance- Architected a system to perform efficient batch refresh of derived tables as a more performant replacement to materialized views- Mentored engineers on best practice for API design, persistence/serialization modeling, and SQL optimization- Built and maintained the company's Splunk data input integration

Joined due to acquisition of Whisk to be part of the Car Service organization in Deem.- Created database-backed settings that was multidimensionally configurable, which powered configurability for driver dispatch rules to rider app notifications- Designed and refactored the ride pricing engine to make which payment processor to use configurable - Led engineers in developing and designing features in the Whisk application

- Architected the front-end of Whisk's corporate ride system web app Ridgeback using AngularJS- Contributed deeply to Grails server development with the addition of many important features(extended wait queuing, driver messaging, offline dispatch, base affiliates)- Improved app (iOS/Android) robustness by implementing keep-alive mechanisms, image file caching, and various bugfixes and features to Titanium SDK

- Implemented backend Hadoop data warehousing of A/B testing view events- Developed system that tracks the session events of all Android apps available on Amazon Appstore- Created an automation test framework in Python that reduced time to perform regression tests on session events collection from days to hours- Co-designed and implemented a customer-facing Android API for A/B testing and custom analytics

- Oversaw and took charge of testing the payments product (Host and POS APIs)- Led the development of a new C++ test harness for Voltage Simple API (cryptographic API) that supports many different operating systems- Developed an in-house QA tool to parse the SecureData Appliance client policy XML file in multiple programming languages (C++, Java, C#) to promote data-driven testing
