CurrentFollowing a career in government communications, I began operating as part-time CFO for Deadly Ponies in 2010. Back then there was a team of four operating out of a suburban Auckland garage. Today the group of companies employs over 100 staff and the brand is experiencing strong sales growth across all markets in a very competitive luxury sector. Deadly Ponies has gouged out a niche in the Australasian accessories market, operating under a trusted and recognisable contemporary brand, and building toward a greater presence internationally. Our collections are consistently designed to create a clean, modern aesthetic and we have grown a loyal customer base as a result. Yet our greatest success has been to build an ambitious, supportive, entrepreneurial team that seeks to bring inspiration and aspiration in all that we do.
