My job entails Installing, Traversing, Levelling, and taking GPS observations on Survey Control. We then compile the results into a control compilation. I perform topographical surveys using Trimble & Leica Equipment. Other surveys I perform are Platform Gauging, Structure Gauging, Datum Plate Surveys & Laser Scanning.

I spent two years as a full time engineer onsite away from home building a new landfill site in Newcastle under Lyme for Lafarge; after which I moved back to the head.

I was one of two Elevations Surveyors as well as performing training of new survey technicians. Whilst working here there was a survey instrument checking and servicing training program to recognised ISO standards, which I find Helps me now I control a fleet of Instruments. I also performed all manner of Topographical Surveys and became a Trained operative.
