Loss Prevention responsibilities included the validation of shrink and safety behaviors through daily and weekly inspections. Successfully developed a checklist for the LP staff to increase productivity during times of single coverage at the door. Also modified the schedule to allow for overlapping coverage, while not increasing labor expenses, to give LP staff more time to interact with employees about shrink and safety. In turn, this created greater awareness in shrink numbers throughout the store. Responsible for the training, coaching and performance evaluations of 4-5 LP team members.Inventory responsibilities included the daily validation of cycle counts and receiving paperwork. Working with fellow department supervisors to effectively manage open box, at-risk and close out inventory to minimize P&L impact. Successful in achieving a closeout inventory level below 2% as well as consistently having 100% completion on all closeout sendbacks. Ensure dotcom orders are picked under company goal of 15 minutes. Achieved average picked time of 5 minutes through daily coaching of behaviors. Responsible for overseeing the weekly truck process and freight flow. Responsible for the training, coaching and performance evaluations of up to 15 inventory team members.
