This team is building a new brokerage account opening application on a new responsive platform. We are challenging the status quo at a Fortune 100 retirement services institution to get the product built, tested and deployed to a production environment.

Steven is responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of the front office telemarketing and order entry systems. Steven provides a single point of contact for system enhancement development and production support. Steven takes responsibly for the overall coordination, status reporting and stability of production support and front office enhancements. Steven is responsible for assembling project plans, teamwork assignments, work in progress tracking, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review, and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.

Supporting the telemarking team with application support and enhancements, Steven is in charge of tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or key resources to meet the needs of the customers. Steven coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed. Assists Project Managers and Product Owners in partnering with senior management of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise. Acts as an internal Agile consultant, advocate, and mentor.

The CEO and President of Concept Development Associates, Steven has addressed the needs of multiple companies struggling to gain a foothold in environmental, foodservice, education, global distribution, and equipment manufacturing industries—leveraging a natural technological aptitude and an intense interest in cutting-edge processes and automation solutions.

In his previous role as EVP Sales and CEO at EZ Environmental Solutions, Steven was chartered with reversing revenue performance for a manufacturer of manually operated cleaning and pre-treatment pressure washing systems. Turning around ineffective sales practices, he led teams to adopt a consultative approach, while launching a new product that generated 500,000+ orders upon introduction at a national trade show. Earning a promotion to CEO, he continued to drive sales momentum that culminated in $3M+ revenue.

Based on his reputation for game-changing revenue results, Steven was previously brought into ESD Waste2Water, where he addressed the obstacle of limited sales for a viable wash water recycling product—first examining crucial components of an extended, 3+-year sales cycle and subsequently building a sales team through a strong professional network. After educating employees on the use of Salesforce.com, plus designing a quoting system that simplified the process of assembling and presenting highly complex orders to customers (with ties to the company’s manufacturing operation), Steven led the company to a groundbreaking $13M in revenue (despite starting at just $100K in sales).

As a Division Manager for startup biotech firm Eco Soil Systems, Steven managed the Water division, leading it as the company’s only profitable area and managing 56 sales representatives calling on golf course superintendents throughout the United States. In this role, he built a distribution network designed to inventory only parts, with the manufacturing process initiated upon order to save carrying costs. Steven also served as co-director of the CleanRack business unit, working with turf specialists to address the environmental compliance needs of major customers. In addition, he established a network of reps that set up distributors worldwide.

Drawing on his history at RGF Environmental Systems, where he played an instrumental role in pollution runoff remediation projects for clients including Georgia Pacific Corporation, International Paper Company, and Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Steven leveraged a certification in ozone technology to design systems and facilities for golf course equipment washing that mitigated pollution. In this role, he developed complex specifications and bids, working in partnership with a colleague as a distributor to his former employer RGF.
