About Steven Kjar
I have attended many colleges and universities while developing my skills, including Snow College, Brigham Young University, Utah State University, University of Washington, and Penn State. After a long search for the perfect career, I found my passion in mechanical engineering with a focus on 3D printing. I am currently working at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a mechanical engineer in R&D.I am very interested in the application of additive manufacturing. I have spent seven years building a 3D printing lab that is now capable of producing ISO13485 compliant parts. I am now interested in moving on to the next step of my career and discovering ways to advance additive manufacturing.Mechanical engineering, traditional manufacturing, and additive manufacturing give me a tool box to work with to accomplish anything I set my mind to.
