Social Networking• Implemented the MSN Social Edition v1.1 User Experience. MSN Social Edition displays the user’s Facebook feed as a slide show with popular stories from various sources on Facebook beneath it. It also displays the “Top Comment” for each story.• Enhanced MSN Social and Community features to use either Windows Live display names or anonymous MSN nicknames. Previously, contributors of “User Generated Content” on MSN had to create an MSN identity in addition to their Windows Live identity. As a result of my work, this is no longer required and an obstacle to contributing to MSN is eliminated. Users who want to remain anonymous can do so. • Implemented the MSN/Windows Live Merged Profile Page. This page displays MSN “User Generated Content” on the user’s Windows Live Profile page and is essential for users without MSN identities. Also refined the stand-alone MSN Profile page.• Designed and Implemented Privacy Policies for MSN Users. - Implemented a scheme to make it nearly impossible to determine the Windows Live identity corresponding to an MSN identity if the user desires anonymity. - Designed and implemented the API used by the MSN Blog and Comments module to prompt for how users want to be identified based on the MSN region’s identity policy and the user’s previous identity choices.MSN Portal• Implemented the Hotmail and MSN Video modules for my.msn.com.
