• Support the build and test of hardware within the Mechanical Manufacturing Center • Support solar array manufacturing and test as well as environmental testing across Sunnyvale campus including Electromagnetics, Structural Test, Systems Dynamics, Thermal, and Thermal Vacuum. • Support daily meetings with manufacturing and test teams ensuring all tasks are well understood and communication paths are well established and used. • Perform regular reviews of drawings, manufacturing work instructions, and test procedures for ease of use, producibility, error prevention, and conformance to command media, customer, and engineering requirements. • I actively employ error prevention techniques to reviews as well as during daily tasks and critical operations. • I act as program interface to both customer and government representatives. • Partner with CPEs and manufacturing engineers to streamline documentation and improve processes resulting in standard processes and elimination of redundancies and ambiguity. • I interface with inspection and the manufacturing and test groups. • I am diligent to create a strong team atmosphere amongst the quality, engineering, and manufacturing organizations while ensuring rigor of our processes and quality of our hardware is maintained. • Support FRB, MRB, and root cause analysis reviews as primary QMRB member collaborating with technicians, CTCs, CPEs, engineering, and DCMA to resolve test failures and anomalies ensuring all hardware meets reliability and quality standards as well as ensuring effective preventive and corrective actions are in place. • Interface with suppliers for nonconformance resolution and closed loop preventive and corrective action. • Ensure software/hardware comply with customer, engineering, and clean room requirements prior to and during use.
