I am a materials engineer with a broad background covering metals, ceramics, and polymers. My skills include materials analysis, failure analysis, as well as experience with manufacturing techniques of the different materials.My experience with materials ranges from carbon steels and nickel superalloys, to powdered metals and thermal barrier coatings, and polymers such as nylon and PEEK.Through failure analysis projects and root cause analysis teams, I have worked with a wide variety of people, such as customer engineers and technicians, supplier machine operators, and internal product and reliability engineers to gain insight from end user, manufacturing, and design perspectives. I have extensive experience performing verification testing of components for First Article Inspection (FAI - Aerospace) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP - Automotive) approvals and work closely with Product and Quality Engineers to resolve issues and process deviations.
