Steve studies and promotes technology, practices, and content that builds strength and power within communities, teams, and individuals.Steve and his teams have designed, built, and integrated systems for nonprofits to expand mission-based impact through client and donor data management, inbound marketing, digital experiences, strategy, processes and analytics since 2005.Steve's teams at Buzzbold manage research, products and services nationally for public media stations, as well as for national membership organizations and clients delivering STEM and multimedia education, environment, grant funding, and advocacy-focused services across the US.Steve is a Salesforce Application Architect, Developer, a certified Salesforce cloud consultant, and an inbound marketing specialist and began speaking about the intersection of digital media and donor development at public media conferences in 2012.Steve served for six years as Chief Digital Officer KDHX Community Media, and later, Executive Producer of the International Documentary Challenge before expanding Buzzbold in 2013 (which he founded in 2011). He holds a BS, Industrial and Organizational Psychology and a MA, Management of Nonprofit Organizations from Washington University in St. Louis, where he most recently served as adjunct faculty teaching Systems Thinking and Decision Analysis.
