• Ensures contract compliance, under the Correction Systems Support Program (CSSP) for the Department of State (DOS)/International Narcotics and Law (INL) program in Kabul, Afghanistan. • Utilizes delegated functional independence to ensure compliance with program and customer directives. • Appoints, manages and trains third country nationals (Afghans) as quality inspectors for conducting inspections, documenting results of surveillances, monitoring corrective actions, data research and environmental regulatory compliance. • Manages training records for each employee, with main goal of ensuring Afghan sustainment of programs after final draw down of NATO Forces in 2014. • Responsible for approving TO submittals, performing phased inspections at job sites, documenting inspection results, tests, related corrective actions, conducting pre-final inspections and monitoring punch list completions to map work results IAW TO specifications. • Oversees security compliances regarding the control of material and sensitive assets from pilferage/use by insurgents.

• Performs in-process inspections of composite lay-up assemblies, perishable material receiving, calibration recall, records maintenance, autoclave inspection, trim and drill inspection, tool prep inspection, and composite repair inspections IAW applicable standards and specifications. • Documents and reports any defects that violate drawing requirements.• Approves and stamps acceptable tools and rejects tools that do not meet acceptance criteria.• Initiates reports of identified non-conformances.

• Under administrative direction, executes technical and functional responsibilities related to quality assurance support activities on project assignments. • Performs technical and administrative functions (i.e., planning, organizing, interpreting, coordinating and executing division or project assignments).• Makes recommendations that have a significant impact upon quality policies and programs.• Prepares project audit schedules for the QA function and audit reports (internal and external), noting non-conformances and verifying effective corrective action. • Assists (if requested by the Project Manager), in developing an orientation program to ensure that project teams are familiar with the requirements of the Project Quality Plan. • Assesses (if requested by the Project Manager), the ability of the supplier to meet the quality requirements of the project. • Provides technical and general supervision to direct reports.
