I lead a mindfulness meditation group at the Unitarian Universalists of Sarasota on Sunday afternoons. We practice mindfulness meditation techniques to help lead a more meaningful and flourishing life. I have studied and practiced Buddhism for over 20 years including Tibetan, Theravada, and secular traditions. This group follows a secular path with a focus on Buddhist and Western philosophy. We mainly focus on the early teachings of the Buddha before the Buddhist religions were formed.
