Connecting students and academics to the right expertise and the right digital infrastructure can lead to some incredible research outcomes. So the question is - how can we make this happen every day at the University of Melbourne? In this role, I am developing a strategy that will provide a vision for this future. It will cover the structures, funding and initiatives we need to take on to get there.

I lead the Research team within Information Technology Services (ITS). We provide information and communication technology to support research at the University of Melbourne. This includes infrastructure, services and expert advice specifically intended to help researchers at the University to exploit the full potential of all the IT resources that are available to them. Current projects include some major work on high-performance computing and research cloud infrastructure.
