Steve Marks has almost 40 years of experience in the insurance industry. Currently, he is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Aon Edge. In this role he is responsible for developing and executing effective operating processes for the agency including customer service and policy issuance; IT and systems development; agency services and contracting; compliance; product development and underwriting; claims management; and financial reporting, planning and analysis. Marks joined Aon in 2002 and has since held numerous leadership positions across the firm. He served as Senior Vice President and then Chief Operating Officer of Aon Underwriting Managers and later as Executive Vice President for several of Aon Affinity underwriting programs including lawyers professional liability, D&O and E&O, marine and property and casualty. Prior to joining Aon, Marks worked for several insurance and actuarial firms across a variety of personal and commercial lines. Marks is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
