Serves as the Vice Chancellor for Economic and Workforce Development representing South Louisiana Community College throughout eight counties/parishes with nine campuses. Also manages a self-support standalone Maritime campus where SLCC has partnered with the US Coast Guard along with Transportation and Logistics programs. Serves as the college's senior executive responsible for it's infrastructure programs including Fiber Optics and Broadband, Power lineman, Construction, Ed-To-Go, and Business programs. Duties also include managing Health Care and Nursing programs along with Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering programs. Day-to-day duties also include creating industry partnerships through state appointed Louisiana Economic & Development initiatives along with the creation of customized training initiatives and executive leadership of the Corporate College.

Promoted an environment conducive to student learning while being an ambassador for diversity and inclusion among the faculty, staff, and students while also fostering a student-centered learning/training environment. Led training and curriculum design projects for curriculum programs including Customized Training and Continuing Education and promotes effective training solutions to include strategic plans, budget allocations/distributions, supporting instructional operations, online learning, departmental unit plans, and division logistics. Oversaw the hiring of full-time and adjunct faculty/personnel in the division and makes recommendations to the Executive Vice President of the institution.

Provided leadership of the administration for the Transportation department to include the General Automotive programs, Ford ASSET, General Motors ASEP, Collision Repair, Diesel/Heavy Equipment and Turf Grass Management programs. Assignments included responsibility for such activities as recruitment, evaluation and supervision of academic and support staff, faculty and staff orientation; curriculum development and implementation; student advising; budget development and administration; and department continuity and administrative support functions. Serves as the spokesperson on behalf of the faculty to other departments and colleges as well as higher levels of administration within the college, and as the individual within the department who is chiefly responsible for implementing and administering policies and procedures developed at higher levels.

Owner/Operator

Senior trainer for automotive programs and Toyota's T-Ten program. I was directly responsible for course development and curriculum design for the college's adult programs. Developed online modules for e-learning and computer based testing. Worked within a group of additional professors to monitor college compliance in regards to SACs.
